one of the greatest achievments of humanity...

....is my new jacket. I will give it my personal "tool of the year" award very close before our tent ;). I can't imagine how humanity could survive for thousands of years without such jackets.

Currently we have mild weather again but rain, almost everyday.

Hehe I am arousing desires ;)

You probably won't get it out there, it's a Bergans Anatomic LV jacket. Bergans is a Norwegian brand and it seems like they are just starting to get into the European/international market. But they make great jackets :)

Love u.

I've seen this jacket in action, and I can attest that it is the pinnacle of science and outerwear

Axel's and my soft shells look similar after rain and we are using Mountain Hardwear (common in US).

can they even withstand hard rain? Have you tested it so far? Because my Mammut-Softshell jacket does look the same when it's raining light but get's more or less useless when it's raining really hard. This happend to me one time and I was starting getting wet after only a few minutes out in the rain. On the other side it was only 100 Euro, so prabably there are probably better softshell jackets

Mine is called Mountain Hardware "Synchro" and is praised to be "fully waterproof". In fact all the seams are sealed and it keeps me as dry as a raincoat *proud*
I would never have bought it in Europe for 220 Euros, but here it cost only 112 Euros :)

fuck you ;)

I know stuff is a lot cheaper in the US, we ordered for example a sleeping pad and a plane for our tent in the US because it was still 30% cheaper, including transportation costs. Life is sick :/
